Farewell Message from Marilyn Rhude
3-28-2022
Fellow Cape Air Crewmembers,
It is with mixed emotions that I let you know I am leaving Cape Air. I have made the decision to venture forth and try something different after 28 years with Cape. It was not an easy decision.
I will miss flying the C402, the sunrises over Nantucket, the jokes with Boston ATC, and all the wonderful staff throughout our system, but most of all I will miss our pilots. I have had the best of times both flying and in our crew rooms. It has been an honor to serve as Executive Council chair all these years and I am so proud of our union.
I am happy to announce that Andrew Fidanza has graciously agreed to take over as chairman on the Executive Council. He has been working with me for some time now and I know he will do an excellent job. Please give him all your support and encouragement.
I look forward to seeing you "out there" and plan to keep in touch. Many, many thanks to all of you for my many wonderful years as a Cape Air captain.
Sincerely,
Marilyn C. Rhude
